WHO WE ARE

We bring technology and innovation to the farming industry.

Our roots run deep in the fertile soil of Minnesota. We, the third generation of the Malecha family, are now caretakers to a legacy that is dedicated to protecting the land,
animals, and family entrusted to our care.

In the 1980s, Todd and his dad (Roman) started renting out manure equipment, which grew into a custom pumping business. As larger equipment was required for farm operations, we developed a service to help other farms with baling, chopping, and bagging.

Todd and Louise Malecha started in 1989 with 13 cows and a commitment to be the best stewards of the land and cattle they could be. A vision for perpetual innovation and creating a family business for lasting generations enabled us to grow.

By 1999, our herd consisted of 750 cows and we started milking three times a day. Our dairy operation now encompasses 2,300 head of cattle that we care for throughout their life cycle.

We are guided by CANEI - Constant and Never-Ending Improvement - which inspires us every day to be the best at what we do. This is especially true in caring for the environment. In large and small ways, we are committed to protecting our natural resources. We are enrolled into the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program. This certifies that we use best management practices to enhance the water quality of Minnesota’s rivers, lakes, streams, wetlands, and ground water. We know the soil and water gives life to crops and animals, so it is our responsibility to care for them.

We bring everything we can to the farming industry every single day. We take pride in what we do for our family and for our customers - from milking three times a day to seasonal custom work to emergency pumping services. We know what it means to work hard, and we won’t quit until the job is finished and completed right.

Our family includes our seven children - Kimberly, Kristopher, William, Jonathan, Rebecca, Katelynn, and Robert. As soon as they were old enough, our kids started helping with chores on the farm. Growing the business has given our children the opportunity to stay involved in the family operation or go on and explore different and new business ventures.

Now as our children begin to have families of their own, some have chosen to take on new opportunities while others have committed to working and growing the family operation.

We continue to look for growth in the future even as we remain firmly rooted to the land and our heritage.
