A Family Business
Precision Pumping is a family business based in Villard, Minnesota. In 1979, Roman Malecha (Todd’s father) started a custom application business utilizing liquid tank application equipment. Todd got involved in 1986 and since then the business has pumped in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Precision Pumping realized its need in 2013 when the team and equipment were engaged with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and other local officials to address a fish kill in West Fork Beaver Creek in Renville County, Minnesota. Todd and the team placed pumps to aerate water in the stream to increase dissolved oxygen levels and pumped contaminated water from the stream to help resolve the issue.
